ZomBees !
At Miskatonic Books we like zombies! Well, we like to read about them, anyway. A very cool new site has popped up, and it relates the story of a critical bio-renewable resource: Honeybees. Our honeybees are in deep trouble, and if they go, we would wish we were zombies because we would starve to death without them.

Fight Zombies with Dr. John Hafernik, Professor of Biology and Director of ZomBee Watch.

A Zombie Fly laying eggs inside a Honey Bee.
At ZomBee Watch they “need your help finding out where honey bees are being parasitized by the Zombie Fly and how big a threat the fly is to honey bees”. If you are a farmer or bi-vocational biologist, maybe you can help them?
It seems easy (we have not tried this, though). Find a weak stranded honeybee, carefully capture it (don’t get stung!) and wait 2 weeks. If the larva emerges like the zombie thing it is, alert the organization.
This seems like an easy way to Save The Planet and Fight Zombies!
